Marcus already existed, in another story. Ellis started as a minor secondary character in the same one, but they never met.
Although I knew Marcus would be an MC in this one, Jack came to life and became the focal point until Ellis migrated over and evolved to bring the three of them together.

Jack - If pushed, he'd say how to avoid trouble. But that didn't work out too well in the end, so nothing.

If you like the great outdoors, there is extensive forest to be found if you venture out of Stratton. You might want to stick to the designated pathways, or you may bump into a wolf or two.

Opening Desire was the best and most stressful thing he's ever done. Even though it's going well right now, there was a wobble last year when a certain person's father tried to come down hard on sex workers in the city.
The problem has been dealt with for now, but where there's one moral objector, there are bound to be others.

#WritingWonders Day 29: Describe your book’s cover.

This changes a lot. I've toyed with bound wrists and other kink suggestive images. The one I'm currently using in Atticus is of a naked torso, with hands coming around from the back, splayed open on his chest and belly.
I would love to commission an artist to create a cover specifically showing Eerie, if/when I can afford it.
For now I'm playing around with ideas.
