People are not projects. If a sub doesn't see you as a person, they're not going to start, no matter what you do. Basic empathy and decency isn't something you can 'train'.
Saw another newbie domme on Reddit making that mistake recently and I think it's a common pitfall. It's a weird variant of the 'but I can fix him' trope.
