I think I’m going to take a long break from BDSM. It’s fantastic and very much soul affirming… but the people involved are too spicy and too difficult. Almost everyone doing it is so far on some kind of spectrum that conversations can be… contentious for reasons that are less queer and more just weird for the sake of being contrarian.

Dan Lei from Kinkclub in Denmark carried out two wonderful workshops in #BDSMkastellet during the international #BDSMday. One of them was about needle play, an edge play practice which isn’t for everyone.
Dan taught the eager crowd how to inject fluids under the skin to create the sensation of a bee sting.
The room was buzzing! 🙂

At #bdsmkastellet we allow all kinds of play, blood play, pet play, pummeling, little play. You name it, we allow it.
Sanctuaries are rare today as some places are afraid of “scaring” newcomers.
We say throw them into the deep end of the pool and teach them to swim and respect the freedom we have within the scene.
