The local monitoring team caught a few invasive crabs during the Gorge Waterway trapping yesterday. The team is back out, today(Sept. 19) at 10am.

#European #WallLizard is #invasive on #VancouverIsland 🚨 Its population has spread out on island. These #invasive #lizards eat our native alligator lizard's eggs & young. They also eat native frog eggs/tadpoles & eggs/young of little birds too. These invasive wall lizards are #threats to our local #ecosystems - creating imbalances & problems.
