NDP holding on to the Surrey-Guildford riding now, but narrowed 3 votes… just a 9 vote lead over the Conservatives.
This is insane.
The other close ridings don't seem to be moving enough to portend a potential switch, but who knows!

I heard this morning that there were around 100 votes still to count today for some of the ridings. The NDP would only need an advantage of about 65%-35% to overcome a 12 vote deficit.

I think a good thing, from a sustainability and #CarbonNeutral point of view is that presuming the Green Party is the kingmaker and goes with the NDP, the B.C. #CarbonTax would remain. #BCElection #BCElxn2024

#CPBC: 45 ridings 887,397 votes 43.57%
#bcgreens: 2 ridings 166,661 votes 8.18%Just 1 seat and 1.02% of the vote separates the two. But unless there is a reversal in a recount, it looks like the NDP have just held onto power. They will need to come to an agreement with the Green Party in order to govern long term like they did in 2017.

This was updated overnight with one big Mainstreet (2000+) on the 17th and 2 other firms from Friday.
Of the final polls from each firm since the 11th:
2 have #CPBC ahead.
1 has a Tie.

As long as headlines like this continue to permeate the news cycle over the next 4 days, I feel like the #BCNDP have a good chance of keeping their majority and stopping the onslaught of the regressive, backward, anti-social, nutbar, #BCCP party. The NDP has run a pretty clean campaign to this point.

The last poll listed was on October 6th from Léger and had the NDP 5 points ahead of the Conservatives.
We should get new poll numbers done after the debate by Monday.
Real polling, as in, Advance Voting starts in earnest tomorrow. Advance voting days are October 10, 11, 13, 15, and 16. Likely 8AM to 8PM in your local community or District Elections Office.

Overall I would say Rustad was on the defensive the most by far but got some of his main points out. Eby attacked the most, sometimes agreeing with Green leader Furstenau. Furstenau avoided attacking the others most of the time but got some digs in. She had the most effective delivery on policy.
