In addition, #BCatPix had to have all of her teeth — except for 6 tiny incisors — removed. The shelter from which I got her did not tell me about her prior mouth problems, & it was not until she developed "pillow paw", a secondary infection indicative of another serious infection, that I was aware that something was wrong with her health, for she continued to be the same happy-go-lucky BC she's always been. In many cases her roots had dissolved back into her skull & there was nothing over the resulting abscess but the crown of the tooth
