I have these two dodgy MN3009 bucket brigade chips (c.1982) I removed recently (https://mastodon.scot/@electropict/116738053301276000 ) which are about to go in the dead components pot, to be sent for recycling one day when full. If anyone wants them for cutting open and studying or something?

Successfully restored the chorus function in the #Juno6 today. It's been getting increasingly noisy for the last year, which is apparently a fault they're developing as the original Panasonic MN3009 #BBD chips degrade. Replaced with XVive MN3009s (socketed). Seems to work perfectly, immediately. This is the first repair (rather than contact cleaning) it's needed in 43 years.
(I didn't last anywhere near that long without intervention.)
