À la tête du #Niger depuis un an, le tombeur de Mohamed #Bazoum est un chef discret et solitaire, qui se méfie de tous, y compris de cette armée qui a rallié son putsch sur le tard et de ces hauts gradés qui n’ont pour lui que condescendance.

— "Algerian President Abdelmadjid #Tebboune has rejected any external military intervention in Niger, where a #military coup overthrew President Mohamed #Bazoum last week.

Last Sunday the West African regional bloc #ECOWAS gave the coup leaders a week to reinstate the ousted president of #Niger , Mohamed #Bazoum . The organisation threatened military intervention if its demands were not met. But some African countries have expressed strong opposition to this.
