This is my first foray into the Bayonetta franchise. The story is all over the place. I can't decide if the main character being hyper sexualized is supposed to be male gaze exploitative or empowering. The gameplay is alright - engaging while not obscenely hard or long.

Anoche me salió un vídeo de YT sobre una drag queen (Nemesis Lacroix) reaccionando al final de #Bayonetta3 y lo comparto mil. Okay. You know what? I think the #Switch2 news may have pushed me into waiting until the end of the year before I pick one up.
We're not a big Mario Kart family, and whilst a few other titles look interesting, there's not that much for me get excited about.
The Gamecube library is a nice addition, and I'm looking forward to finally playing #Bayonetta3 on a system that can make it look (and run) it's best, but honestly...eh?
Give me a new mainline Mario game you cowards. It's been like 8 years since Odyssey.

También me hace gracia cómo han ensalzado a la prota como "el regreso de los personajes femeninos sexis", lo cual me hace pensar que esta gente juega a pocos #videojuegos. Que hace dos días tuvimos #Tekken8, #FinalFantasyVIIRebirth. No hace tanto tuvimos #Bayonetta3, #Shantae y Ada Wong con un DLC de 6 horas en #ResidentEvil4Remake.

CW: Massive Bayonetta 3 spoilers. The ending, everything.
I just beat Bayonetta 3 and... I'm not ok. lol.
I predicted a lot of that story but I did not see that ending playing out that way.
Like, I tune in to Bayonetta for whacky insanity and slick action. I wasn't expecting to be fighting back tears.
They really killed her. Permanently. No multiverse shenanigans can bring her back.
Now it makes sense why they threw the kitchen sink at this game. There was stealth, platforming, on rails shooting, kaiju battles, musical numbers... so much that at times I got kinda annoyed. They really wanted to fit everything into her last story.
Like, Bayonetta endings have been long and gratuitous, but that was one extended send off. Really drag out my suffering. One final torture attack on my emotions.
