A 9pm update from @metservice brings us updated weather warnings, with Orange Heavy Rain Warnings in place for #Coromandel, #Gisborne, and #HawkesBay overnight and into Friday.
This is on top of our already sodden ground, so if you’re concerned at all please prepare your go-bag and prepare to head out.

Metservice is due for an update in about an hour, but the warnings weren’t renewed when the additional thunderstorm warnings for #Waikato and #BayOfPlenty went up at 0830 this morning, so that’s a good indication we’re back to calmer weather for the day
