It’s been quite a busy gaming weekend for me. Friday we at Marathon Gaming got through the last bit of #MegaManPhantomofNetwork. This somewhat recently translated title had a lot more content than I initially gave it credit for. I hear the next cell phone game is even better.
Last night with different friends we also started Act 3 in #bauldersgate3. There already seems like a ton to do. Going to see much more of the content when I eventually get there in the solo run -
We’ve started getting a bit of snow in my neck of the woods. I miss the days of youth where seeing snow made me excited. Now it mostly feels like more shovelling to do, and longer commutes for work.
Been checking out some of the expected Patch 8 notes for #bauldersgate3 and it looks pretty interesting to add so many new subclasses. I hope the cross system play will work well -

Last night we watched #DeadpoolAndWolverine which was a fun movie. Not something I will watch again anytime soon, but it was fun.
Soooo many cameos I think I should have known, but I don’t know all the characters in there. Some I wasn’t sure if it was who it was supposed to be, like Psylock.
Also this weekend was another session in #BauldersGate3. It was the beginning of Act 2. We ended earlier then I thought we would have, but that’s ok -
Last night we watched the movie, #EvilUnderTheSun another murder mystery one with Hercule Poirot being the ace detective. Besides some of the jokes being dated, I do enjoy these movies a fair bit. Kind of unexpected but ya know.
Should be back to the usual routine of #StardewValley night with friends on Thursday and a potential #BauldersGate3 night either Friday or Saturday

Yesterday was a nice day. My partner and I went for a walk in the late morning, then I played some online #BauldersGate3 with friends for the remainder of the day. We’re just at the end of Act 1, and will be going into Act 2 whenever we can play next.
Not sure how things will work as we made different choices at a certain point, guess we’ll see.
One friend is playing a fighter and is just wrecking things all around heh. My Rouge 4/Ranger 2 is going alright. -
I'm currently playing #BauldersGate3 on PS5 and loving the new mods... it's taxing my patience to wait for more to be approved, but we're getting there.
I've heard that the Polyamory mod is approved, but i don't see it on my list yet...
Also looking forward to trying an #artificer (I've heard that mod is in the Queue)

Last night I was wondering what to play. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying playing #BreathOfFire3, but I just wanted something different.
Insert #RiverCityGirls2, a game I’ve had for a bit but didn’t put in. Just played for an hour so didn’t get far but it’s a lot of fun. I tried to remember why I didn’t get all the achievements before and was reminded that you need to play co-op for someTonight shall be more multiplayer #BauldersGate3, woot woot. Currently level 4 Rogue, 1 Ranger

There are certain things I miss at times. Listening to the radio and I heard an ad for an all you can eat place. Long long ago I used to go for sushi with friends and then go bowling after.
I just can’t think of going to an all you can eat place anymore. Bowling unfortunately is another game I don’t see myself doing much.Oh well, at least it’s #StardewValley night, and Saturday should be some more online #BauldersGate3 with people

Last night I was playing a multiplayer game of #BauldersGate3 and I have to say it’s much more enjoyable with other people. Not just the silliness that happens (one friend is constantly jumping into traps and acid and the like), but also just because it’s less inventory management for me to do. I think that’s part of the problem with the game, always so much shopping.
Maybe it’s because with tabletop games I run magic items are flooding everything. Ah well

When #bauldersgate3 gets an update and I have to play the game of which game(s) I uninstall it might be a sign some day I need to invest in a larger HD. Still, given the company I’m sure there’s a lot of goodies in there. I just find it difficult to get into as if I don’t have a couple of hours to play it doesn’t feel like I’m progressing much.

It’s kind of funny in a way playing #bauldersgate3 and not quite knowing what to do. When I played virtual tabletop on Roll20 I could automate certain rolls. I’m sure there’s a way to auto add Sneak attack damage when it works and such.
Still, enjoying playing a Ranger so far. It’s nice to have a blind play-through. I’m sure there’s things I’m missing. -
Made the dive and picked up #bauldersgate3 on Steam. Have some LARP friends who might want to start a weekly or bi-weekly game, so that could be pretty interesting. Had to uninstall #FinalFantasy15 to make space for it. One day I should invest in a bigger SSD.
Going with a Ranger to start, as in tabletop I didn’t find them too strong. Looking forward to seeing if that changes -

It always feels like a bad break up when you choose to end a D&D campaign. I’ve been waffling on this for a bit, but when I was considering the fun multi-level sunken castle map I wanted to make and just couldn’t be inspired to, figured that was a good sign. Also two of the players were regularly late as they’d be stuck playing #BauldersGate3.
The eternal question if I try finding a new group (likely to Pc in) or do I just wait until the new year and play video games or something instead -

Wanted to draw my Baulder's Gate 3 character, Lilac the Tifling Bard. I'm still not very far into the game honestly, I keep taking breaks due to decision paralysis haha. A Carefree bard who wants to help folks. Included some screenshots of her as well. I'm not really a fan of the basic Bard outfit so I did a redesign for her...at least until I find some better clothes in game for her.

The amount of annoying little bugs in the PS5 version of #BauldersGate3 is really pudding me off. Especially in coop (which I play most often. :frog_drool:
No single bug is big enough to be a real problem / annoyance :frog_sus:
The problem is the sheer amount of them :frog_cry:

I'm pretty excited to get #BauldersGate3 once there's a sale for the PS5 version. Been seeing lots of hype and I've been wanting to get lost in another rpg.

I love how BG3's 'discourse' (if you can call it that) is identifying all the DMs who see tabletop as a DM vs Player experience and treat that as the only valid way to play pen and paper RPGs.
Can it be a valid way? Sure! Some people want that hardcore challenge.
But it's just as valid to treat it as collaborative storytelling where people can play out epic power fantasies or whimsical adventures where the DMs fudge rolls when it makes the story better.
It's a set of rules for a game, not a book of bylaws.

Oh, man. Battery life while running #bauldersgate3 on the #SteamDeck is lower than I expected. I'm nearly always near an outlet, so this isn't a real big issue, just surprised.

Has anyone tried #bauldersgate3 from #gog on the #SteamDeck yet? I prefer buying my games from GoG when I can, but I acknowledge that purchasing from #steam is more convenient.
