Battlebit Remastered has open comms when you are downed: both allies (that you hope to rez you) and enemies can hear you. This exchange happened last night.

Rando (after I shot them coming thru a doorway in what should have been "safe" territory for him): What you doing there hiding like a rat!

Woke up this morning with plans for a busy Sunday, decided to give #battlebitremastered a shot since I had a spare 15 minutes. It's now 5:44pm est.

I get the hype for #BattlebitRemastered - I really do. But hear me out: There’s something to the sheer spectacle of #Battlefield, even 2042, that’s still unmatched to this date. Give me that dirt, noise, shouts, explosions and freaking natural desasters midway through a match.

It seems like #BattleBitRemastered might continue to be supported on #SteamDeck (and #Linux) thanks to an expected update to the #FaceIT anti-cheat (or at least a part/variant of it) that would allow this! This makes it feel a lil more safer for me to buy the game, knowing that it would continue to work even when it eventually replaces #EAC.

#BattlebitRemastered is probably the best #Battlefield since Battlefield 1 back in 2016 and it's not even a Battlefield game.

No microtransactions, loot boxes or paid DLCs. Just 15€ and you get a fully functional game. A truly refreshing experience.

I've heard insanely good things about #BattleBitRemastered, and that its #EAC anti-cheat on the public servers are compatible with #SteamDeck and #Linux - but I've also heard that they will switch this anti-cheat at some point with their own anti-cheat that will not be compatible with Linux. Kinda torn now whether it even makes sense to get the game on #Steam, to support what looks like to be a massively talented group (presumably) of developers.
