    The Power Mac 7100/80 actually chimes now, but after chime no activity and no video out. I bodged in a CR2032 battery and verified 3.1V at the RTC chip. The service manual says the battery should be replaced if it goes belov 3.2V but usually a CR2032 is okay. The chime can also get distorted if the board is flexed so I suspect a bad trace or something memory related. Search continues. #vintagemac #retrocomputing #batteryleak
