  1. Using a modern MacBook while it’s plugged in is generally safe, according to the article.

Battery health management monitors battery condition, charging habits and changes in power use, then adjusts charging.

It may temporarily pause charging at an appropriate level to help limit battery wear.

The feature is enabled by default on portable Macs running macOS Catalina 10.15.5 or later.

    The source also identifies heat…

  3. On a Samsung Galaxy, the shield beside the battery icon indicates that Battery protection is active—not that the phone has a security threat.

The basic option stops charging at 100% and resumes at 95%.

Maximum protection lets you set a limit from 80% to 95%; a lower limit means less charge available at a time.

The sleep option pauses charging at 80% overnight and resumes so the phone reaches full char…

  4. Battery capacity tells you how much energy a device can store; runtime depends on how quickly it uses that energy.

A larger laptop battery can still run down sooner under demanding games than a smaller one used for writing.

A power bank’s rated capacity also does not translate directly into full phone charges: around 20–30% of energy is typically lost during charging, with greater losses from fast and wireles…

  12. Anker Nano 45W.

Smart Display. To niewielki wyświetlacz wbudowany w front ładowarki.

To funkcja, którą docenią osoby obsesyjnie sprawdzające kondycję baterii w ustawieniach iOS.

    Praktyczność przede wszystkim

Moc 45W to idealny „sweet spot” dla użytkowników ekosystemu Apple. Wystarczy, by z pełną prędkością ładować iPhone’a, iPada, a nawet MacBooka Air.

  16. My laptop failed to suspend and drained all its battery. It was at 0% battery for many hours in -10°C temperature. When I charged it, it's almost dead running at 10% capacity.

Is this fixable or should I replace the battery?

  17. Well, now I know why the battery life on my Apple Watch series 7 is sucking so much. I just checked the battery health and it's at 81%. I used to be able to get about three days out of this thing, now I'm lucky if I get About a day and a half. My phone's battery is at around 82%, and it's also about two years old. OK.

  18. The new charge limit slider is cool, but did you know if you change the limit back to 100% you get a pop up asking if you want this to be temporary?

So cool! Great for when you are going to travel. I will so utilize this on when I travel back to the US this summer!

  20. This is an interesting article flagging iPhone 14 Pros seeing deteriorating battery health after less than a year. Mine is down to 90% and I’ve never used any betas. I was wondering if it was something to do with wireless chargers, but maybe there’s a design/software issue with the 14 Pro. #iPhone14Pro #iPhone #BatteryHealth @9to5Mac @ChanceHMiller

  21. KDE Connect is quite usable, but I feel like it drains my battery. Or is it the battery itself, the age? Does anyone know if and how (which tools or apps) you can read the charge cycles or battery status on a Pixel 5 with Graphene OS? Or is that not possible on Android, as it is on Apple?
