Why someone needs to take the time to email, and then wait for a response just to install a piece of software you’ve paid for is beyond me and is a terrible customer experience.

3. Next run 'sudo $path_to_installer'. This will open a second copy of the BatFi installer but it will be running with administrative privileges. Go through the installation process as normal and enjoy the time saved instead of having to email someone to find out how to _install_ the piece of software you've already paid for.

1. Once you've downloaded the BatFi installer, open it.
2. You can either use 'ps aux' or Activity Monitor to find the full path to the installer process. I used Activity Monitor and the path ended up looking something like, '/private/var/folders/dr/b91l10_n1nz39mzxhw2zljx40000gp/T/AppTranslocation/21A808C6-D33A-4D04-A153-CC1F2F4AC63D/d/BatFi Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/BatFi Installer'. -
re: #BatFi - installing as a non-administrator user.
Sorry, but not sorry, this is pretty stupid…I shouldn't need to send an email to get a piece of software I paid for installed. I'm not even talking about using it, but just installing it. Since the "fix" or a "fix" isn't posted publicly, I've decided to share what worked for me.
