I'm pumped. After years of searching I finally located my brother's birthfather. He was a Danish sailor and my brother was born in Canada, so all I had were two very weak second-cousin genetic matches on two different testing services to go by. But tonight I finally found him! So that's all three of us adopted siblings with our birthparents identified!

Monica Kelsey, the CEO of "Safe Haven Baby Boxes" (shbb dot org), which advocates for the creation of baby boxes in which new mothers are encouraged to abandon children, has advice for people who might oppose her plans: shut up.
According to Kelsey if you claim as an adopted person that you experienced any negative effects as a result of being adopted, "take your little trauma narrative and go somewhere else."
