I don’t think I’ve ever heard an album with #DannyThompson on it that wasn’t good, at least in terms of the #bass, but his contributions to the sui generis album Songhai are particularly remarkable. #RIP #music #MusicSky #bassists #bassplayers

There were plenty of bass players before Les Claypool, and Les' stuff in and out of Primus has been incredible with some wild funk stuff, both more standard and not. But there was nothing that sounded like this before Frizzle Fry, and there won't ever be anything like this again. This shit is 100% original Claypool insanity, and we're lucky to have lived through this. The 1990s were fucking MAGICAL

Sterling by Music Man announces the DarkRay bass

Bass players take notice! Sterling by Music Man is announcing their DarkRay, a modern tech-forward bass with a roasted maple neck and ebony fingerboard.

@OneBlindMouse Know what you mean. High-end basses that are well made seem to do this less. And I have an aluminium EUB that seems to stay permanently in tune and setup regardless of temperature and humidity because everything is metal 😀 #bass #bassplayers

This is the same song „make it a breeze“ as the one i posted 2 days ago with jawharp - but this time #live performed with #piano and double bass

maybe i should add bass to the recording too 🤔🤭
by the way - the coughing at the beginning is so classic 🫣😄

Are there any Bass players out there that can help me? I realize i need a better bass, but are a bit lost in the jungle of models. I have a cheap Morgan at home that does it's job for practice - but it shares the same problems as the Fender Precision and Fender Jazz i've tried out - the E string is very muddy and muted compared to the others. Is this a known problem? Apprec replies and have a nice weekend folks! #music #musician #bass #bassplayers #tips #instrument #instruments #fender #morgan

Three weeks ago i bought a bass, and today i was asked to meet up with a band and jam/try out and learn their songs. I’m so stoked! Music is life! #music #guitar #bass #guitarplayers #bassplayers
