Berti was very good on about an hour train ride into Edinburgh today.
He met loads of people, mostly other tourists that wanted to say hello - and he loves to say hello back!
He was exceptional walking around the city, and sitting in a busy pub during a downpour.
After another hour in the train and 40 minutes in the car, inhaled dinner, then cwtching down for a good sleep.

🇬🇧 Good morning. Just past 5am. Got up at 4:15. The alarm was soon going to go off anyway but one of the bassets (the pushy, whiny one) started his soft whining around 4:15 because he wanted breakfast.
Then because he usually sleeps in the wagon he was in for 12 weeks after his paw surgery, he expects me to wheel him out to the living room 🙄
My advice to all: want a low maintenance dog? Avoid #BassetHounds! Though they are by far the most loving breed I have ever had.
As I sip my coffee, he is comfortably sleeping on the couch with her stomach full. 😆
