@dead_ball_era_baseball - These "T.205" series cards are great - apart for that severed leg in the top left hand corner.
The team began as the Sioux City Cornhuskers in 1894, and became the Saint Paul Saints on moving to Minnesota in 1895. In 1900, then in Chicago, they renamed to the White Stockings, hence the severed leg and in 1904 shortened to White Sox. I can`t find the Chicago Americans. And Olmstead only ever played for the White Sox from 1908-11

I have a few question for #Baseball fans in general and #BaseballCard collectors in particular.
I’m looking to build an every #WorldSeries winning #Dodgers team. And I want cards that are from the year in which a particular team won.
For instance, for the 1955 #WS winning team I would want the #SandyKoufax from that year.
Where would I start? Who’s trustworthy? I know nothing of Baseball Card collecting, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a pleasant little story for the #baseballcard folks out there.

I always buy singles for so many reasons, but I woke up this morning and said 'I maybe want a blaster box of Stadium Club. But there's no way Walgreen's will have that specific brand so I'll just get a generic repack box; those seem fun." And...Walgreen's had Stadium Club. They not only lock up their card boxes, the salesperson doesn't even let you carry a box to the register. 😂

Anyway, I have terrible luck with rips. I never even get guys I PC. But this time, so many PC players! Dale Murphy, Jacob DeGrom, Shohei. I love deadball era guys and there was a Christy Matthewson. And a base Paul Skenes rookie card!

A reminder to us singles folks that sometimes packs can be fun.

Update on the #vintage #baseballcard saga: SGC grading service says it is not a fake. I am relieved, but also part of me would have welcomed a refund because I am not fully comfortable with how much I paid 😂 Nice to know what one's limit is.

Good news for anyone following my unimportant little #baseballcard saga. The USPS delivered both cards (the Rosen and the Erskine) just now. I do wish they hadn't marked the first one as delivered yesterday, kicking all of this BS off, but c'est la guerre.

Well, it finally happened. A #baseballcard delivery got stolen from my porch. The most upsetting part is that it was a single card, which means if the deliverer had thought to put it in my mailbox it would have been fine. It only cost $5 (an ungraded 1956 Topps Al Rosen, go Jews!) but I'm sad. Naturally I coped by stuffing my face with a Brenda's Meat and Three #brunch.

we found my old #BaseballCard collection while going through my grandparents house. i thought this was all lost 15 years ago. now i have to go through it all. 😱
