Hopped on the bike for a half hour early today to finish off the last of Traitor Baru Cormorant. Pretty good. Might read the rest of the series, but I hear reviews are mixed. #books #BaruCormorant

At number 2, The Traitor #BaruCormorant from Seth Dickinson's #masquerade series - intrigue and betrayal coming out the wazoo, gripping and tense, and the best sort of political.
And my favourite book I read this year was The Ten Thousand Doors of January by #AlixEHarrow - a hugely moving book about home and family that came to me at a time when I was deeply sad about losing mine. Stunning, if occasionally a little twee.
