Here #sessile adults of the invasive #Balanus #trigonus with their typical ribbed #shells, secreted by pouch-like carapaces. M.Zhang et al. (2023) isolated the #mitochondrialgenome of another neozoon: Megabalanus coccopoma,thus establishing it as #scientificmodel.
