While we're in #Helsinki, I wandered out of town a way to a great new urban development in what was once the VR railway workshops. Inside, there's a great new Brew pub called Olarin Panimo.
There I tried the Hagström "Back To Back" New England IPA. At 8.5% ABV, I was surprised how smooth it was at first, with a lingering, resiny, dry and bitter finish. Then Pow!

After the decidedly plebeian and a bit too extensive bar crawl on Friday night I thought I would do a shorter one tonight, starting at the more patrician end of the market. But the Lang Bar at the Waldorf Astoria near Berlin Zoo is despite the name sadly not Fritz Lang -themed as far as I can see. And the drink list did not offer any M or Metropolis inspired concoctions.
