So I was #Baptised and God installed the RFID chip that opens the Pearly Gates when I approach like a heavenly automatic cat door.
When I was 14, I learned my then BFF was #Mormon. Sunday School taught that Mormons and Muslims were absolutely going to Hell and — the carve out was interesting to me even then — Jewish folks were drawn on the dry-erase board off in their own not-Christian island, and I distinctly remember being taught they were iffy, I should give them sideeye, and maybe they were going to Hell, too. But definitely condemation-lite for the Jews, whereas the Hindus and Sikhs were irrevocably damned to firey torment.
BTW read grim #FairyTales 🧚🏽 to your little ones. That shit isn't nearly as dark as #Christofascist Sunday School. I don't recall the Grimms or Aesop filling me with #hate that'll take forever to pick out of my soul like IED shrapnel.
