Much is made of the winners of the races at the UK's Grand National horse-jumping meet at the Aintree course. But here are this year's losers:

'Hill Sixteen' - broken neck, dead
'Dark raven' - fell, euthanised
'Envoye Special' - fell, euthanised

The last time no horses died was in 2020 when the meeting was cancelled. There have only been 3 occasions since 2000 when the meeting was held & no horses died.

The BHA can crow about low % rates; I don't care. Only 0% is OK.
