Recent #numismatic #news has been dominated by the European Central Bank's survey on proposed new euro #Banknote designs. But they aren't the only ones looking to update their notes. The government of #India has authorised the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to print an initial batch of 2 billion #polymer #banknotes for field trials, the government informed Parliament on Monday.
The RBI has recently floated a tender to procure material for polymer banknotes, reviving a proposal that has been under consideration for nearly two decades.

So I'm not sure if I'm allowed to vote on the new Euro banknote designs (being not actually in Europe), so here's my unofficial vote:

I do like the bird / city designs. Some of the designs are quite clever overall, and I certainly don't hate the lower ranked ones. The reason I liked H is because the design, but also it is a lot of solid colour, which makes them easier to distinguish, but also a little gradient in each note as well so they do have visual interest

J'étais chaud pour les oiseaux en vertical sur les billets d'euros (contexte : https://www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/banknotes/future_banknotes/html/index.en.html), et quelqu'une m'a complètement flingué le truc. La proposition en fait c'est oiseau + catastrophe climatique en cours.

Exemple : oiseau + pollution de l'air.
