damn. the last of them died right after building a school and becoming a teacher (with no student but himself, he is uneducated). #Banished

omg! i'm playing #banished. i played most of the tutorial before so i just played a new game despite almost forgetting the mechanics (which i don't usually do).

so after a year, i've lost most of my 20 (?) people because starvation because i suck, and through winter, i was left with a family of 3. i think they survived because they got the posh stone house while everyone was living in the wood house and the barracks.

come mid-winter and they give me a +1. i'm like gorlll in this economy? 🤦‍♀️

I decided to show off a challenging villager simulation called Banished. It’s a challenging survival game where your enemy is the elements and people. I try to survive a few winters with my hopefully hardy group of folks willing to come with~

Currently I'm in great need of #flow (a lovely state of creative concentration) as we are in the midst of building work, my mum is very ill and my job is precarious. I pretty much have CNN on 24/7 in my bedroom because it is the easiest thing to ignore, and I get breaking news relatively quickly.

When I woke up this morning, the story playing was about Trump's latest case-- the fraud one, if you haven't been playing along at home.

Anyway, it made me think. Since their New York business certifications have been revoked and a third party is dissolving their New York holdings... is this the 2023 version of banishing?
