Allowing dumb people access to gunpowder is foolish. It's time to restrict explosives to public displays only. Then phase them out altogether in favour of drone shows.

I was taking care of someone’s dog today and holy shit the poor animal was shaking all day long from the fireworks. I myself don’t like the fireworks either but the dog was out of her mind scared and I felt so bad for her :(

Kira’s not afraid of fireworks the way the boys are, but she does get quite annoyed by them. She barks, which upsets the other dogs even when they’re sedated. So last night I gave her a bit of trazodone too.
The effects are still in play 18h later.
