You can really see how much wife and I have enjoyed this game. It's one of the first we bought when we moved in together, because we were poor and needed something to pass the time.

Nach einer weiteren Partie #Draftosaurus diesmal mit der Marina-Erweiterung, haben wir #Bananagrams ausgepackt. Da ich da gegen die fast 8-Jährige wohl doch Vorteile habe, wurden die Regeln etwas aufgeweicht. Namen von Leuten, die wir kennen waren erlaubt, sowie andere Sprachen außer Deutsch. Außerdem haben wir uns gegenseitig geholfen… Müsste man mal mit mehreren spielen, so dass der Vorrat schneller aufgebraucht wird. #brettspiele @brettspiele

Heute beim Berlin-Besuch ungeplant (ich schwöre!) beim Brettspielgeschäft in der Eberswalderstrasse vorbei geschaut. Wir hatten vor dem Restaurant-Besuch beim Koempul (authentisch indonesisch) in der Nähe noch Zeit und Google Maps hat den Laden bei einer (spontanen!) Suche nach #brettspiele ausgespuckt… sehr schönes, gut sortiertes Geschäft. Ein paar kleine Sachen durften mit ins kleine Reisegepäck… #20Strong #ExtraSalt #Bananagrams

I walked into the math student lounge and five of them were preparing to play Bananagrams ("the word game for people who think Boggle takes too long"). They foolishly invited me to join.

In the first game, nobody else even called Peel.

I also won the second game. Not the same kind of shutout, but this time I was playing with one hand.

Fooling around with an idea for a #Scrabble type #boardgame using #Piecepack and a #Bananagrams set. When words pass through the "empty" spaces, the coins multiply the letter count. The coins remain in the space until all four squares are full. So if I play into a "5" square, the next player can use the coin too. I think I still need to rearrange the coins a little.
