I haven't really printed anything cool in a while. My wife doesn't like me printing a billion little things and leaving them around the house and I agree, it does clutter up the place. I am selling my dad's old Pentax k1000 film SLR and one of the lenses has a missing lens cap so I printed one.

I updated my Bambu Labs X1 Carbon and I didn't notice a difference. Didnt realize you had to go in and let the machine do a 15 minute calibration. It's so much quieter now, how the heck are they canceling out the motor noise with counter frequencies. It's crazy awesome. #3Dprint #3dprinter #bambulab #bambulabx1carbon #3Dprinting

Makerworld has a great Toothless Flexi 3D print file and I just happened to have all the right filament colors. I'm printing it again at a lower layer height to see if those lines go away.

I don't like keeping my power tool batteries in the cold temps of the garage during the winter. So I printed a couple single rows of Honeycomb Storage Wall and another set up the ryobi battery holders I have. I installed them in our downstairs closet which is basically a litter box storage area.

This flexible PLA I got on Amazon is easier to print than TPU in my opinion. I'm able to get quality of PLA but flexibility of TPU so I guess that's a win.

Bambu Labs X1 Carbon AMS with riser. The grey petg from Bambu Labs matches perfectly. It has flaps to with tpu to allow airflow. I haven't installed the magnets yet.

Printed a phone case for my wife in TPU, it printed pretty good except for a few weird spots which I'm not sure what would have caused this. I'm not familiar with tpu at all. I know it needs to be dried and I have it in a dryer drying while it's printing. It's inland tpu.

Is there a way to make the purge stack in Bambu labs color change to another shape? Like can you make it print something useful that you don't care about with random colors?

Seam line is still coming through so once this coat of Primer Filler dries, I'll either use the wood putty again or wait until my Bondo glazing and spot filler arrives. I had some at some point but can't find it. Wondering if it dried out and I threw it away.

Used wood putty to fill in the seam and smooth out some of the parts that were near the supports. Next up is to spray paint it with filler primer which will further smooth out the print.

Scaled to 285% and cut the bird in half diagonally to be get a better print of the feet and peg leg. The peg leg is very delicate.

Found out about the Honeycomb wall 3D prints and I love it. Definitely printing more for when I get my office more complete and put it near my printers. So many cool tool holders.
I printed out 4 for next to my desk to hold headsets and controllers and other stuff.
