Finland and Sweden plan a joint maritime drone surveillance operation in the Baltic Sea.

Finland and Sweden are exploring the possibility of jointly procuring maritime drones, or Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), to improve security in the Baltic Sea.

USVs could begin patrolling Finnish waters before the end of this year.
