  1. @IanStuart @Nonilex

I mean, I can answer that for you. Disclaimer, my family is Lebanese and Palestinian. That part of the family have lived there since before the Romans were mucking up our streets.

What #Israel wants is Land; Territory and Dominion, and for #American taxpayers to pay for it.

Before #Balfour, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Zoroastrians, and others all lived together pretty harmoniously...for a give value of tribe.

Post Balfour, when the Zionist faction won and decided Israel for Jews Only, things got ugly. Then they decided they needed our houses, our groves, our 1000 year old olive trees turned under by bulldozer, so they could take the "unoccupied land".

This is just a continuation of what Israel has always done, and will always do until they are stopped.

Also, Bibi and Jared have cooked up an overland pipeline to terminate at the coast, and they need this land, just like they need the gas fields in #Palestine.

  2. Look:

The #zionistProject has been on borrowed time since #Balfour

It has been a hundred year crusade spearheaded by USA, Germany and Britain

And any chance they had of staying was probably over in the 60s....and once the overt brutality started, one level or another of intolerance for the leftovers of the terrorist regime was dependable on many variables.

Their #Putsch to #Iran has made the level of intolerance unavoidably extreme

And if they continue to drag the tethered goat* (by the cheetolini bell(end)) into the fight, it will end badly for the whole world.

The two ppl pushing the world to the brink are bb and the guy that loves to hang out with losers....

Alas at this point if he doesn't stop, he really is the world's biggest loser... arguably in history

*The USA is the tethered goat...a casualty of no consequence that makes the future strife inevitable

  4. Today marks 108 years since the #Balfour Declaration, which in 1917 saw the British Empire promise historic Palestine to the #Zionist movement laying the foundation for waves of ethnic cleansing and the ongoing colonisation of Palestine by #apartheid Israel.

  5. @GeriatricGardener Still amazed how little coverage this gets now:

When that maybe killer was caught, it got mentioned basically everywhere, the arrest had happended around the ZION National Park.

    What a "coincidence" 🫣

Originally the "Mukuntuweap National Monument", later renamed by a famous Christian Zionist, US President Wilson.

Wilson endorsed the #Balfour Declaration, called it "a privilege to restore the Holy Land to its rightful owners".

  6. When the Balfour Declaration was signed, the population that was Jewish in Palestine was estimated at well below 10 percent.

  8. Why Britain is responsible for the #Genocide in #Gaza and the subjugation of the Palestinian people.

#DeclassifiedUK | How Britain supported Zionism and prevented Palestinian freedom

"Lloyd George convinced the Zionist leader that for this reason Britain would never allow representative government in Palestine."

  9. "We have been in #Palestine for twelve years [i.e., since the #Balfour Declaration] without having even once made a serious attempt at seeking through negotiations the consent of the #indigenous people,” he wrote... We have set ourselves goals which by their very nature had to lead to conflict with the #Arabs. We ought to have recognized that these goals would be the cause, the just cause, of a national uprising against us."

  11. ok, so I fell into a rabbit hole research Philip de László, the artist who painted the portrait of Lord Balfour which was ruined today at Cambridge.

this is a self-portrait from 1925, which looks like it came straight out of Disco Elysium

  15. I den kontroversielle Balfour-erklæringa frå november 1917 erklærte britane at dei støtta opprettinga av ein nasjonalheim for det jødiske folk i Palestina.

Brevet var datert 2. november, ein fredag, men vart først publisert i The Times veka etter, fredag 9. november. 105 år sidan i dag. Den vart ikkje publisert i Palestina med det første.

I Noreg kom nyhenda tysdag 13. november, og først ute var den konservative sørlandsavisa Vestlandske Tidende.
