Wasn't sure if I should post this one for some reason. I pulled over at the side of the highway to take it, thinking it might show the darkness and smoke we've been experiencing.
It was taken at 18:29 today, 2026-08-10. Looking at Hwy #97 in West Kelowna, BC, facing south-west towards Peachland and the Bald Range wildfire. A light breeze briefly pushed the smoke aside in the distance, allowing a bit of the sky to show. The darkness we see in the sky is not a cloud, but smoke from the fire.
