I wonder who #Verstappen is going to blame his loss at #BakuGP on this time.
And it was ironic to hear Perez complain about Sainz hitting him while he was trying to force him into the wall.
Not the most exciting race, but interesting and still one of the most scenic tracks on the schedule. Almost as scenic as Monaco and better track.

Verstappen could not get close to Leclerc, mainly due to the MASSIVE hole he had in the sidepod!🤯
The hole increased the drag of his RedBull significantly, reducing the high-speed acceleration and top speed💥

-Very aggressive RUS-VER battle at the beginning, leading to multiple contacts!
-The tow was strong: PER easily overtook LEC under DRS, but VER was unable to get close (also due to the damages)❌
-ALB was impressive in attacking an AM!

Thoughts? That was a bit.... not great. Yuki's woes, Max's moans and a tasty moment from Lance were the only relief from what would otherwise have been a bit of a snoozefest (what do you call a sprint snoozefest? "napfest"?).
That's kinda Baku all over though - it has two settings, "chaos" or "meh".
Still, fingers crossed for more excitement tomorrow. Let's not bother with a sprint here next year though eh?

Well... that was something!
Glad Charl didn't get the pole *because* of going into the wall. Only really screwed Carlos, & frankly Carlos hasn't had front row pace or anywhere near it... maybe lost out on 4th to George but even that would've been a stretch.
Strong from George - both Merc drivers maximising the dragmobile really well yesterday & today.
Still think RB will be ominous later & tomorrow, but it's Baku, one mistake can change everything 🤞🤞

Strong effort from Albon there, Williams definitely enjoying the low downforce here. With Norris unable to run he's guaranteed 9th at worse on the grid tomorrow... points certainly not out of the question, it's gonna be a hard car to overtake.
Otherwise no big surprises in the top 10...wonder if Charl can repeat yesterday's magic?

Caused a specific ERS deployment strategy: better to use the energy at the lap-end (as it is used for the entire straight) than at the beginning (as the braking point is close!)
