Baking with kids is a very nice activity for....
debunking "pro" baking techniques!Yesterday, we made pogácsa (the simplest recipe with equal parts of flour, margarine, cottage cheese and some salt). The kids overworked the dough like hell, did not roll it out to an even height and then they drenched the cut-out pieces in egg wash. And they came out just perfect!
I know it's probably the recipe, but I already had the same experience with the Hungarian version of ginger bread (mézeskalács). Curious to see what other recipes are kid-resistent!
