Need more #BailysBeads from the #AnnularSolarEclipse last month? Hi-res deep videos (which show even the faintest ones) have now been linked from https://occultations.org/publications/rasc/2023/nam23grz.htm ("THE ULTIMATE #GRAZE, THE 2023 OCT. 14TH ANNULAR ECLIPSE AT THE S. LIMIT") - enjoy!

Hopefully Francis Baily would approve - his ‘beads’ are now included in our solar eclipse simulator. Available now in our website app beta (beta.photoephemeris.com).

Quite excited about the upcoming eclipse simulator enhancements in Photo Ephemeris! We now consider the lunar limb, allowing accurate simulation of the timing and position of Baily's Beads ($).
An initial beta version is up at http://beta.photoephemeris.com.
