It's so hard to grasp the scale of this, even when you are standing right in front of it. The excavator at the bottom center of the pit is 96m high.
On this closeup you can see a white car parked to the left. If you visit the site, you won't be able to spot cars without binoculars or a zoom camera.

This excavator is #Bagger293, which as it turns out is the younger sibling of #Bagger288 (yes, the one from the meme video).
