Scientists at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (#WHOI) have made a fascinating discovery in the Arctic. They have found that ancient #lava from #BaffinIsland in #Canada's #Arctic Archipelago have highest ratios of #helium-3 (#3He) to helium-4 (#4He). This suggests extremely high levels of 3He in these lavas might come from #Earth's core.
