#BCgovernment has been failing kids for decades. Neither former BC Liberals nor our current #BCNDP actually care about children's safety or children's human rights.
Our provincial & federal governments are both enemies to children. Our corrupt, capitalist, colonial governments put their bigoted, corporate bosses & their mo-money wants over needs of children & their futures.
None of them give a damn about protecting kids or helping to provide them with any sustainable futures. All of these scumbag politicians are weak, cowardly & actively contributing to destroying kids & their futures.
Some neoliberal parents are actively aiding & abetting the politicians who are actively aiding & abetting the destruction of their own kids' futures too.

When I was 18, I was an activities counselor at a provincial park. One day, I noticed one of the kids breaking out in measles. I immediately packed up a bunch of games and puzzles and walked him back to his campsite.
His mother was FURIOUS that I had ruined her vacation. She tried to have me fired for not keeping a sick, infectious child around all the other kids when she just wanted to stay in her trailer and day drink or something. Fortunately, my boss was on my side with this and I was praised for my quick thinking. I felt really bad for the kid who needed rest and medical attention. His mom didn't give a shit about him. #SummerJob #Measles #Outbreak #BadParents

So glad our daughters went into singing and the performing arts, when I see stories like this about sports parents fighting at a game for 7 or 8 year-olds.

Someone walked in front of our daughter as we were running for a train at Charing Cross. It slowed her down just enough to leave her standing on the platform as the doors closed with us on board. A little bit of panic, but I circled back and got her. #badparents
