I’ve had a desire to render the digital analog for a while.

The proliferation of GAI stuff wherever one is is making that desire seem somehow more immediate, timely, and maybe even necessary.

Showing the rough edges of the actual instead of French polished perfection of a professional production seems to have more integrity nowadays.

I bought apples, kiwis, oranges, bananas, strawberries, tamarind pulp, dried cranberries because I’m not going to go hunting for blueberries out of season, and an eggplant.

Took a lot less than I thought it would. One apple, one kiwi, one orange, one banana, half a pound of strawberries, and a handful of dried fruit sufficed.

Helps when one has a nice sharp paring knife to make thin slices.

I thought, “I’m someone that can handle kitchen tools, why can’t I make this fantasy real?”

I went to a local grocery store, bought fruit… mostly.. and went to work!

I’m not expert at cooking, nor do I have skill with food art, so it ain’t perfect, but at least it’s real and it’s tasty.
