Haittaohjelma valjastaa laitteen ajan saatossa mm. lähettämään roskapostia ja rikolliset ovat jopa myyneet VPN-yhteyksiä muille ihmisille - jotka käyttävät asiasta mitään tietämättömän mediatoistimen omistajan kotiverkkoa.
