  2. Didn't think I'd be doing this again, but here we are.

#AuDA are pulling the same stunt with my radio club that they pulled with me 18 months ago, lodging a domain dispute and giving us saying the organisation is not eligible as at not-for-profit and giving us 14 days to prove otherwise.

    This is despite:
    1) Section 1.4 of their administration policy defining an NFP as an incorporated association.
    2) Said club is an incorporated association.
    3) Said club provided the incorporated association registration certificate when they applied for the domain.

Having resupplied the association certificate, I hope this is more straight forward than the last interaction I have had with AuDA.

Having said this, I wonder what the hell is going on at AuDA and if this is part of a data verification activity that this is a gross abuse of the dispute process.

A simple “hi, its been x years can we verify your details” would have been enough if that's all this is about.

Anyway, instead I am now going to find the complaints process to (try) and hold AuDA to account, because this behaviour just stinks.

@saera not sure if you still have any involvement over there, but any suggestions who I could best contact? :)

(If you’ve this far and wonder why I am so triggered, see vk7ben.au/2023/07/12/the-domai)

Making excuses for commuters’ bad behaviour breeds bad #etiquette 🇸🇬
"There is no excuse at all for #badbehaviour on #publictransport. Excuses often come fr those w some form of attachment to the culprits because they, too, behave badly. It’s like a spoilt child who is encouraged to continue his bad behaviour because his parents permit it and make excuses for him .. We need to start holding people accountable for their bad behaviour w/o the pleasantries"

The web Mastodon interface has/had some anti-CamelCase code running.
As in, I enter #CamelCase and it would automatically turn it to #camelcase
Not getting that #BadBehaviour currently though.

  5. Just reading a #Variety article about the #Stan TV miniseries #BadBehaviour and bless their hearts, they wrote:

"With a diverse cast of characters from different sexualities and gender identities, the series is a must-watch for anyone seeking a fresh, realistic and relatable portrayal of women’s experiences…"

This reminds me of when Brocklesnitch's nonbinary friend was in hospital and a doctor who was trying really hard to get it right said, "A car hit they"

  6. According to the headline, the Royal New Zealand Ballet's artistic director has "retired".

Last year several dancers called for Patricia Barker's resignation after multiple complaints about "inappropriate behaviour" by her husband were ignored.

He's Michael Auer, a "ballet master" who arrived in NZ on her coattails. They're both returning to the US.

    Good thing.
