Bountiful Summer!
This year was the first year we had coconuts ready to go in our yard. Each one gives us about 1 1/2 cups of juice. We’re also enjoying avocados, papaya, and fresh eggs. On the left is our new yard rooster, Gallo Libre.

We have a huge patch of muscadine vines in our side yard - I haven't been gleaning them this year, since we've been busy Having Adventures. But last week I got out with a rake and a couple of tarps and harvested two 3L tubs of fruit!
I separated out the wrinkly/ugly/blemished grapes to use for juice and still ended up with about 4L of big, pretty muscadines. Washed them all and froze a bunch of them in 2-cup batches for future halving and seeding...

Some of my #StrawberrySpinach #plants are ready to be harvested this week. The #berries are very mild & don't have too much flavour. The stems & leaves taste like #spinach . Great to add to #salads - the #red #colour really makes salads look great. I got seeds from a local farm. I grow these year round 😊
