Mir war nie so klar wieviel Kriegführung, Strategie und Taktik in #Backgammon steckt - bin völlig fasziniert und steh grad voll auf schnelle Blitzkrieg-Spiele. Selten so komprimiert so viel gelernt.
Die Variationen in Strategie und Taktik kann übrigens keine KI bedienen - Bots einfach langweilig gegenüber Menschen <3

Und übrigens: wer Interesse hat, es tiefgründig zu lernen - nextgammon ist eine super Plattform dafür.
Viel Analyse, viele Spiele ohne Einsätze, wer mag kann auch um Geld spielen, muss aber nicht.
Im Gegensatz zu Backgammon Galaxy, wo mehr Casino-Dynamik ist.

As if I didn't have enough hobbies already, my brain decided I should give backgammon a go. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos yesterday, and today I installed GNU Backgammon, knowing it will wipe the floor with me. I put it in the tutor mode, and after being told my move was bad every time I looked at the hint and did what it said.
Then, on its 4th move, gnubg doubled, and the hint told me my position is already so bad I should give up this game :neofox_cry_loud:

Sie können einfach abgeholt und in der Bibliothek benutzt weden.

Main question I get at work is, what game is best for 2? Well, it depends, for me, #7Wonders Duel or #Splendor Duel, but wife & I are divided on which is better. #Photograph is a trick-taking title that we currently enjoy too. #Crokinole & #Backgammon are another staple, & a #52card deck. &, shameless plug, my game #Crowns will be entering the national #gamedesign contest next month, recommended by one of the largest #boardgame stores, & I already have a publisher waiting for design and print :D

Como você se refere aos pequenos discos (exibidos na imagem anexa) usados em jogos como damas, trilha e gamão, independente do jogo (se você os chama de "damas" quando joga damas, por exemplo, mas chama/chamaria de outro nome mais, digamos, genérico, em outros jogos, escolha este outro nome)?

Reactive games is where I shine and I'm pretty awful at logic games. So even tho I love watching top-tier #chess plays, I’m not actually that into it. Losing every time because the better player always wins isn’t fun. It's a structural flaw in the game itself.
That’s why #backgammon has pulled me back in. The dice force you to play reactively and think on your feet, the outcome is not predetermined. It’s strategic, tactical, dynamic, and human. In terms of gameplay, it’s simply the better game.
