The guys are getting anxious for supper so now I’ve got to step up the pace. I did wash better than usual and I also tore up bits of paper towels to wipe each. Now to slice them and cook in a wok with garlic, red wine, teriyaki sauce, etc. I wonder how many days these will last in the fridge.
I’m doing this for son John who missed out on a dinner he asked for on Friday to celebrate his birthday. Migraines daily or at most only a few days without. The heat and poor air quality has really been bad. I heard all over this area people are having problems.

Usually I just wipe them of with moist paper towels. But this batch of 24 oz is definitely more mushroomy-scented and has far more “organic” dirt clinging. So far I had them in a colander to gently wash. Now drying a little on the counter. Should I be wiping them individually now?
