Ivanova has a point.
-
And this is it.. Deconstruction of Falling Stars...the last #Babylon5 of this rewatch... Of this reality...
-
The station blowing up at the end of Sleeping in Light looks amazing on the blue ray transfer...
Tears in my eye...
But I do still have The Deconstruction of Falling stars to go... Tomorrow I think...

Lost Tales Priest: "No angels"
What?
Also, religion has been a huge part of the show - Ivanova having a rabbi come so she could sit shiva for her father, Sinclair's "religious ceremony" of introducing all the different earth faith representatives... G'kar becoming a holy figure, (do we count Ivanova declaring herself god?)
-
#Strictly final in fifteen minutes then... I *think* I *might* be able to finish my #B5Rewatch - I only have Tales and then the S4 and S5 final episodes...
-
It's been a long time since I watched #Crusade but how do I forget a ridiculous X-Files parody...
-
CW: Babylon 5 Call to Arms
Garibaldi feeling very Ivanova-like tbh with his treatment of Drake
-
Moved onto Call to Arms... so far remembering nothing...
But GALEN! TECHNOMAGES!
-
CW: Legend of the Rangers
"remember, no-one there is exactly who they appear" - nice call back
<3 G'kar
Ridiculous... Fun... Bonkers... Wow
-
CW: Legend of the Rangers
This feels like a rehash of Zha'ha'dum and The Shadows...
-
CW: Legend of the Rangers
G'kar is amazing as always...
But. I did think this was G'Kar and Lyta toodling around the Rim
-
CW: Legend of the Rangers
"We don't have any first class accommodation, but we do have some long corridors and some very nice closets" 8-)
-
CW: Legend of the Rangers
Those jump points are different...
That weapons control is... New, different... Bonkers...
-
CW: Legend of the Rangers
Well, that Crew intro with "your truth" feels like and RPG party assembling...
-
CW: Legend of the Rangers
"the Narn and the Drazi are the most recent members of The Alliance"... The Narn who were involved in setting it up, who wrote it's principals? Those Narn?
The Drazi who were probably the spokesperson for the old League who joined up en mass? Those Drazi?
-
CW: Legend of the Rangers
They're making a lot out of this (new) idea of *never* breaking away from combat, but I'm with Ranger Martel on "we don't die stupid" being just as important/relevant...
-
I have watched #B5 multiple times, but today, now, is the first time I'll be watching that fan (un)favourite, Legend of the Rangers...
Wish me luck...
-
Me: hmmm... no roleplaying... maybe I'll keep on my full #B5 #B5Rewatch
My B5 Movies DVDs: Fuck You! Nope! Hiding!
-
Whew.
Finished the main arcs of #Babylon5 with Objects at Rest - Got the movies and Crusade and then I return for the two finales...
-
CW: Babylon 5 In the Beginning
God, I love this framing device...
"What do you want?"
"Tell me a story!"
"You did much better than I did with that question..." -
CW: Babylon 5 Rising Star
And we've, to all intents and purposes, finished S4... I'd forgotten Ivanova's S5 absence was stated here
When G'Kar stood to explain the IA I thought it was going to be *that* speech, but obviously that is S5 proper...
-
CW: Babylon 5 Endgame
"All power to engines. Give me ramming speed."
-
CW: Babylon 5 Endgame
"I hope you got the longitude latitude thing right"
I really hope that's Franklin and Garabaldi winding folks up 8-)
-
CW: Babylon 5 Endgame
So we head into the last big battle... And the horrifying conclusion of the Shadow-Telepath storyline
Garabaldi as "Grumpy" callsign is perfect...
-
CW: Babylon 5 Between the Darkness and the Light
It was so good seeing Londo and G'Kar working together to unite the League of Non-Aligned Worlds like that - especially after "but not on theme page" from a couple of episodes back...
(For too long I was hearing Narn-Aligned Worlds which was really confusing considering the Narn arc...)
-
CW: Babylon 5 Between the Darkness and the Light
Gotta love Susan and her "Who am I?" Speech in this episode... 8-)
-
CW: Babylon 5 Intersections In Real Time
"You been interrogated before?"
"Yes"
"By anyone I'd know?"
"You'd be surprised"I think this is the first time I realised that this is referring to Jack the Ripper in Come the Inquisitor...
-
CW: Babylon 5 Intersections In Real Time
All this time in the future and there is still corned beef...
The amazing banality and bureaucracy of 1984 style torture...
-
When my dinner is ready, I'm going to hit play on the last four episodes of S4 of #Babylon5 (saving Sleeping in Light for the far future)...
Intersections In Real Time which, I think, is the episode I randomly saw and showed me #B5 was more than the Star Trek knock-off I'd assumed to that point (I was busy for TV a lot as a kid and suddenly seeing this at 10pm rather than 6:30 was enough to make me go "hmmm?"
