The situation for refugees on all three routes to Europe (the Balkans, Belarus, and the Mediterranean) is becoming increasingly difficult and dangerous. The militarization of “border protection” is advancing inexorably.

We would like to clarify with you what the situation at Europe's external borders looks like at the moment, what interests states actually have in the (non-)migration of people into their territory, and what possibilities there are for supporting people in solidarity.

We will focus in particular on the situation of refugees in Poland and on the contradictions and similarities between Polish and German migration policies.

✊After the input, we will open the floor for thoughts and ideas on how internationalists and anti-fascists on all sides of the borders can respond to these worrying developments.
