Invitation to the next general meeting
A month has passed since the last general meeting, and the situation in Kurdistan and the Middle East has escalated further in recent weeks.
Various decentralised planning sessions have taken place as part of the General Assembly.

Under the guiding question ‘How do we fight against patriarchal violence that refugees face on their journey and in the camp system ?’ we want to come together on O-Platz and discuss how patriarchal violence manifests itself during the flight and in camps and how we can defend ourselves against it.
The situation of refugee women and LGBTI+ is catastrophic they are put into camps at the external borders where there are not enough hygiene products and hardly any privacy, they are put into camps in Germany where security forces sexually harass and rape them as Tegel and Nuremberg show us.
They are forced to flee by wars and weapons from imperialist states, by ecological destruction and by domestic violence.
But they are also fighting back, as the O-Platz movement impressively shows. Many women were in the front rows fighting for freedom of movement against camps and deportation. Tegel shows us impressively where women organised themselves against the patriarchal violence they experienced.

Imagine there is a war and no one is going. We talk to Or, an activist from Jerusalem, about
resistance against the compulsory law of military enlistment and other strategies against the militarisation of Israeli society and the genocide against the Palestinians. We ask what role German arms exports play, how we can support their struggles and what we can learn from them in view of the massive arms build-up in Germany.#### DEUTSCH
**Militarisierung und Verweigerung in Israel**
Stell dir vor es ist Krieg und keine*r geht hin. Wir sprechen mit Or, eine*r Aktivist*in aus Jerusalem, über Kriegsdienstverweigerung und andere Strategien gegen die Militarisierung der israelischen Gesellschaft und den Genozid an den Palästinenser*innen. Wir fragen, welche Rolle deutsche Waffenexporte spielen, wie wir ihre Kämpfe unterstützen können und was wir angesichts der massiven Aufrüstung in Deutschland auch von ihnen lernen können.
Die Veranstaltung findet auf Englisch statt. Bei Bedarf werden wir für Übersetzung sorgen.
