These can often be really expensive. Landlords frequently hide costs in their bills that should not be passed on to us tenants.
If you check your bill, you can often claim money back.
But how do I check my bill?
In our workshop, we will use practical examples to show you what to look out for, how to spot typical mistakes and how to claim your money back.

In 2024 alone, at least 20 homeless people died as a result of violence in Germany.
But although the right-wing motives behind these crimes are obvious in many cases, there is usually no political or social debate about the crimes and no remembrance of the victims.
The marginalisation that homeless people experience in all areas of life continues even after their death.
The lecture takes a look at the long continuity of social Darwinist persecution and violence, highlighting the experiences of violence suffered by homeless people on the one hand and discussing the motives and motivations behind social Darwinist violence on the other.
As always, cold drinks will be available and there will be an opportunity to chat with us.

- AVL-Tresen - Vortrag: Sozialdarwinistische Zustände - Tödliche Gewalt gegen obdachlose Menschen +++
Allein im Jahr 2024 starben in Deutschland mindestens 20 wohnungs- bzw. obdachlose Menschen durch Gewalt.
Doch obwohl in zahlreichen Fällen die rechten Tatmotivationen auf der Hand liegen, bleiben eine politische und gesellschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit den Taten und ein Erinnern an die Opfer meist aus.
Die Marginalisierung, die wohnungslose Menschen in allen Lebensbereichen erfahren, setzt sich auch nach ihrem Tod fort.
Der Vortrag wirft einen Blick auf die langen Kontinuitäten sozialdarwinistischer Verfolgung und Gewalt und beleuchtet einerseits Gewalterfahrungen von wohnungslosen Menschen und diskutiert andererseits Motive und Motivationen sozialdarwinistischer Gewalt.
Abseits davon gibt es wie immer kalte Getränke und die Möglichkeit mit uns ins Gespräch zu kommen.

In this talk, two comrades share their experiences from Camp Hurriyah, which took place in Malmö, Sweden, last month.
Organised mainly by Swedish and Danish pro-palestinian groups, the camp served as a meeting and learning space for international activists as well as a kickoff for the Volvo Claws Off Palestine campaign targeting Volvo's involvement in the displacement of Palestinians.
Learn about different frameworks within the different countries and discuss with us how to connect with comrades and build a stronger international network for Palestinian liberation.

The feature film ‘The Baader Meinhof Complex’ depicts the prehistory and actions of the Red Army Faction (RAF) from 1967 to 1977 based on true events.
As it is a feature film, many of the depictions are based on interpretations and political assessments of the group and cannot simply be viewed neutrally or objectively, which is why we would like to discuss the film with you afterwards!

Da es ein Spielfilm ist, beruhen viele der Darstellungen auf Interpretationen und politischen Bewertungen der Gruppe und sind nicht einfach neutral oder objektiv zu betrachten, deshalb möchten wir anschließend mit euch über den Film diskutieren!

On October 17, the new Brandenburg state parliament will be constituted -a state parliament that has never been filled with more right-wing and fascist forcer.
The AfD has won a third of the seats - a party that does not hide its nationalist politics or its plans to deport all immigrant citizens.
With the BSW, yet another populist party that divides people on the basis of racist positions has entered the state parliament.
While SPD-Minister-President Woidke presents himself as the winner over right-wing forces, he and his coalition partners, the CDU and the Greens, have been instrumental in promoting nhuman migration policie in Brandenburg.

Am 17.0ktober konstituiert sich der Brandenburger Landtag - ein Landtag, der noch nie zuvor so stark von rechten und faschistischen Kräften besetzt war.
Die AfD hat ein Drittel der Sitze erhalten - eine Partei, die ihre völkische Politik nicht versteckt und plant, sämtliche migrantischen Mitbürger:innen abzuschieben.
Mit dem BSW haben wir eine weitere populistische Partei im Landtag, die Menschen anhand von rassistischen Argumenten gegeneinander ausspielt.
Während sich SPD-Ministerpräsident Woidke als Sieger über die rechten Kräften darstellt, hat er mit seinen Koalitionspartnern CDU und Grüne maßgeblich eine menschenfeindliche Migrationspolitik in Brandenburg vorangetrieben.
Seit 2018 ist ein riesiges Abschiebezentrum am BER geplant. Kommendes Jahr soll ein Abschiebelager in

17.10. digitale Pressekonferenz mit Vertreter*innen von „AufRecht bestehen“, der Nationalen Armutskonferenz sowie voraus. einer Mieterorganisation + digitale Pressemappe. #b1710
2023 hatten über 300.000 Haushalten eine Lücke von durchschn. 107€ zwischen den tatsächlichen und den anerkannten Wohnkosten! Diese Lücke muss irgendwie aus den anderen Posten wie z.B. Geld für Lebensmittel, Mobilität oder Hygieneprodukte ausgeglichen werden. Ein Unding!
Weil die Schutzregelung für die Wohnung aus der Coronazeit nahtlos in die erste Karenzzeitphase übergegangen ist, gehen wir davon aus, dass ab Januar 2024 ungewöhnlich viele Menschen in Bezug von Bürgergeld oder Sozialhilfe in „unangemessen teuren“ Wohnungen wohnen und viele Behörden den Ablauf der „Schonfrist“ nutzen werden, um #Kostensenkungsverfahren einzuleiten.
