In Morocco, near the spanish enclave Melilla, there is a complex fence system erected, the European border regime enacted in Africa.

Refugees live in the surrounding hilltops in informal camp structures, all with the aim of crossing soon.

Abou Bakar Sidibé, from Mali, is simultaneously protagonist and director of LES SAUTEURS - after months of waiting and unsuccessful attemps of crossing, he starts filming his daily life at the border.

Regular attemps to cross, but also an everyday mostly characterized by resilience and patience; by jam sessions, playing football, political discussions, gathering food, hiding from the cops, and dreams of Europe - hope, despair and fear as a constant companion.

We are fundraising for two of our friends to support them in their fight against the racist German immigration system, specifically with lawyers' bills and rent.

In Marokko, bei der spanischen Enklave Melilla, besteht eine komplexe Zaunanlage, europäische Grenzen auf afrikanischen Boden.

Geflüchtete, meist aus der Subsahara-Region, leben dort in den Berghängen in informellen Camps zusammen – alle mit dem Ziel, möglichst bald die Grenzzäune zu überwinden.

So auch der Malier Abou Bakar Sidibé, der in LES SAUTEURS gleichzeitig zu Protagonist und Dokumentierendem wird.

Nach über 14 Monaten des Wartens und der gescheiterten Versuche beginnt Abou, ihre Lebensrealität mit der Kamera zu begleiten. Neben den regelmäßigen "Sprüngen" ist ihr Alltag vor allem vom Ausharren geprägt:

In unserem Workshop werden wir darauf eingehen wie sich Anarchafeminismus historisch entwickelt hat und über ein paar der Vertreterinnen dieser anarchistischen Strömung berichten.

Der Marsch beginnt am Weinbergpark Brunnenstraße / Invalidenstraße und führt in Richtung Unter den Linden, wo er sich zu einem kollektiven Akt des Gedenkens, der Zärtlichkeit und des Widerstands entfaltet.

Come to our next Palestine Café in November.

This time, we want to talk about the colonial situation in the West Bank and forms of resistance by Palestinians against land theft and displacement.

We will show the film @grenadesinmaqluba and then have a discussion with co-director and photographer @xeniagomes_

At the end, there will also be food and space for further discussion and networking.

Kommt zu unserem nächsten Palästina Café im November.

Dieses mal wollen wir über die koloniale Situation in der Westbank sprechen und über Formen des Widerstands der Palästinenser:innen gegen Landraub und Vertreibung.

Wir werden den Film  @grenadesinmaqluba  zeigen und anschließend eine Gesprächsrunde mit Co-Regisseurin und Fotografin  @xeniagomes_  haben.

Am Ende wird es auch was zu Essen geben und Raum für weitere Gespräche und Vernetzung.
