The documentary film ‘Das Boot ist voll und ganz gegen Rassismus’ (The Boat is Completely Against Racism) by Conny Antes and Hermann Bach (Umbruch Bildarchiv, umbruch-bildarchiv.org) accompanies the Caravan for the Rights of Refugees and Migrants.
In late summer 1998, refugees, migrants and human rights activists travelled through 44 cities in Germany with the ‘Caravan for the Rights of Refugees and Migrants’. Under the slogan ‘We have no choice – but we have a voice’, they drew attention to racist agitation and the precarious living conditions in refugee camps.
The film accompanies this movement and shows how people from different countries stand together against isolation and injustice.

Der Doku-Film „Das Boot ist voll und ganz gegen Rassismus“ von Conny Antes und Hermann Bach (Umbruch Bildarchiv, umbruch-bildarchiv.org) begleitet die Karawane für die Rechte von Geflüchteten und Migrantinnen.
Im Spätsommer 1998 ziehen Geflüchtete, Migrantinnen und Menschenrechtsaktivistinnen mit der „Karawane für die Rechte der Geflüchteten und Migrant*innen“ durch 44 Städte in Deutschland. Unter dem Motto „Wir haben keine Wahl – aber eine Stimme“ machen sie auf rassistische Hetze und die prekären Lebensbedingungen in Flüchtlingslagern aufmerksam.
Der Film begleitet diese Bewegung und zeigt, wie Menschen aus unterschiedlichen Ländern gemeinsam gegen Isolation und Ungerechtigkeit aufstehen.

This month, we are joined by Marie, who will share insights from her master's thesis with us.
Together, we want to explore our power resources at independent organizations:
How can we succeed in using our wage-earner power, especially now in times of severe cutbacks? What power resources do we have for self-organization and how can we collectively represent our interests?
For us social workers, individual resignation and changing jobs often seem to be the only way out of poor working conditions.
What does the high turnover in our field mean for building countervailing power in independent organizations and beyond the boundaries of our workplaces?
Come by and let's raise awareness together about where our power resources lie.

Oft scheint für uns Sozialarbeiter*innen die individuelle Kündigung und der Stellenwechsel als der einzige Ausweg aus schlechten Arbeitsbedingungen.

We support and join the National Strike this Wednesday, October 15th, called by social organizations, collectives, neighborhoods, communities and individuals, by unions and labor federations, and the youth of the so-called Generation Z.
We also congratulate and stand in solidarity with the March of Sacrifice towards Lima, undertaken by Eng. Aldo Carlos Mariño, mayor of Pataz.
We join in the demands for:
1. Immediate arrest of Dina Boluarte and her accomplices
2. Resignation of the r4pist and corrupt politician José Jerí
3. Formation of a new leadership board in Congress.
4. Justice for the victims of extrajudicial executions in Juliaca/Puno, Andahuaylas, Ayacucho, Cusco, Apurímac, Arequipa, La Libertad, Junín, San Martín, Huancayo and Lima — crimes committed by the government of Dina Boluarte and endorsed by Congress
5. Respect for collective memory and the immediate repeal of the amnesty law for crimes against humanity. -

Ebenso richtet sich der Kongress an linke Strukturen, die nicht nur in ihrer Selbstdarstellung sondern auch im praktischen Handeln in ihrer Struktur Betroffene unterstützen.
⚠️👉🏾 Strukturen, Gruppen, Kollektive, die sich zwar eine gut lesende Selbstdarstellung überlegt haben, jedoch Betroffene nicht ernst nehmen oder gar Tätern die Möglichkeit bieten, sich weiter in den Strukturen übergriffig zu verhalten, dürfen sich explizit ausgeladen fühlen.
